My wife and I arrived at the Morning Glory Suite immediately after our wedding dance in Charlottetown and provided a relaxing start to our honeymoon before heading on a cruise to Alaska.
As part of the snuggles and bubbles package, we had a delicious home cooked meal in the evening before our departure from the nearby Charlottetown Airport. After a busy wedding day and a late arrival at the B&B, we slept through breakfast unfortunately. We look forward to enjoying the full B&B experience for our one year anniversary.
The Bonshaw Breezes is perfect for couples with amenities like an outdoor hot tub and in-suite jacuzzi. Sharon and Dave were great hosts and we look forward to staying at the Breezes in the future!

My husband and I toured NB, PEI, and NS for our honeymoon and Bonshaw was probably the favorite place that we stayed. I guarantee you will not have more helpful hosts anywhere you stay: Dave and Sharon were kind, helpful but not too in-your-face about helping you plan your stay. They gave us a great map, good directions, and lent us beach chairs, cooler, and towels when we headed to the beach. Additionally, the breakfasts each day were fantastic and varied - Sharon is a truly excellent cook! At first we were intimidated because you eat with the other guests at breakfast, but it got to be a lot of fun because we shared tips each morning about great places to go.
The only thing people should know before they book is that this is NOT a historic bed and breakfast. I think from the website people maybe think otherwise, but it's just good to know ahead of time. The property consists of two buildings, the main house which is where the Mayflower suite (by far, the best room there) is and where the proprietors live, and then the secondary building that has two other rooms. The rooms are all cozy - the bathrooms are good size and everything. It's just not a historic property; although the property itself is incredibly lovely and the views are very beautiful.
The property is in the middle of the country, but it's very central to everything. I liked that it was a great location to explore the entire island, since we were interested in seeing Cavendish and Charlottetown and everything in between.
Overall, it's a great great place to stay - we even extended our stay because it was so wonderful, and cut short our time in Halifax. Great decision!

Thank you Sharon and Dave! You guys were amazing hosts and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our 2-week honeymoon in Atlantic Canada. Out of all the places we stayed, Bonshaw Breezes was by far the best in both food and service. The little extras and the thoughtfulness you put into everything you did made our 4 day stay with you incredible. You gave us very helpful advice on what to see and do in PEI.

Thank you both for such an amazing time. We loved our 4 nights and looked forward to our tasty breakfast each morning. You have a FABULOUS B&B and we wish we could stay even longer. "This visit has by far, been the best part of our honeymoon! The serenity of the rolling hills and landscape, the hues of blue and green on those sunny days, the mixture of relaxation and adventure (good thing we brought our bikes with us!) have been just what we needed! Sharon's breakfasts have absolutely spoiled us~ the candied ginger fruit cups were delicious! We now know how we'd like to have our home in a couple of years~everything from the beach glass dish to the hummingbird feeders! We only wish we could extend our stay here to experience more of what Prince Edward Island has to offer. Sharon and Dave, thank you so much for everything! The mussels were fabulous! Thanks again!"

Located just a short driving distance from Charlottetown, PEI, Bonshaw Breezes offers a relaxing setting in which to enjoy the tranquil countryside of the island. Newly renovated, the accommodations are beautifully decorated and unmatched with regard to cleanliness. The homemade breakfasts are both hearty and delicious so plan on some physical activity to work off the morning feast that you are sure to indulge in. The owners, Sharon and Dave, make you feel at home and are helpful in planning day trips to see the local sites and find a good meal. We were more than pleased to have Bonshaw Breezes Bed and Breakfast as a part of our honeymoon memories!
